PANOPT puts what instruments measured beside what was claimed about the conflicts that move oil. Its three public ledgers can be quoted and charted with credit.
What you can use
The Chokepoint Ledger (/ledger): the radar count of hulls in open water at the Strait of Hormuz and Bab el-Mandeb on every Sentinel-1 pass back to 2015, the Hormuz crossings estimate, and every published traffic figure, graded.
The Strike Ledger (/strikes): claims that an oil plant was hit, each beside the fire NASA's satellites recorded there on the nights around it.
The Ship Attack Ledger (/ships): reported attacks on merchant ships, each beside the heat at sea NASA's satellites recorded around the position it was reported at.

What the numbers are, and are not
A radar count is the hulls in open water at the moment of a pass, crossing or waiting. It is not a count of ships crossing, and it cannot say whose a hull is.
The crossings estimate is a model built from those snapshots, graded E (indicated), with every step shown on /hormuz.
A strike verdict says what burned, not what caused it. No heat never means nothing happened: cloud, the hours between passes and a fire put out quickly all leave none.
PANOPT gives dated reads of the market, never price forecasts or advice.
